Conclusion of the Fourteenth Training Day

On Saturday, September 5, 2026, the fourteenth training day was held for participants in the ninth cohort of the Youth Leadership Program, implemented by the Amman Center for Human Rights Studies. The training day focused on the topic “Digital Media: Between Influence and Public Opinion Formation—Media and Communication Theories.” It covered the concept of digital media and its role in shaping public opinion, as well as the mechanisms by which digital campaigns influence audiences and steer public discourse. Additionally, key media and communication theories and their applications within the digital landscape were reviewed. The session aimed to enhance participants’ ability to understand media, analyze its content, and engage with it critically and consciously.

The training was facilitated—on a voluntary basis—by Dr. Mona Jamal Abu Hammour, a specialist in digital media and media campaigns and an alumna of the Amman Center for Human Rights Studies’ Women’s Leadership Program.
