On the occasion of the 67th Anniversary of UDHR Graduate ceremony for the 5th and 6th class participants in the JIWL programme

Under the Patronage of his Excellency Dr. Khaled Al-Klaldh, Minister of the Political and Parliamentary Affairs, Amman Center for Human Rights Studies held a graduation ceremony for the 5th and 6th class from the Jordanian Institute for Women’s Leadership programme.
The event took place at Jerusalem Hotel on the 9th of December, and coincided with the 67th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
The graduation classes numbered 23 women from Jordan, Syria, Iraq, and Sudan.
Distinguished guests included representatives from the EU delegation to Jordan, as well as the UNDP Regional hub. Both representatives held speeches during the event.
Mr. Ibrahim Abu-Shammalah is a programme specialist in the rule of law, justice and security, and governance and peace building cluster at UNDP Regional hub.
Mr. Ibrahim Laafia is the head of development and regional cooperation section in the EU Delegation in Jordan, and attended on the behalf of His Excellency Ambassador Mr. Andrea Matteo Fontana, ambassador of the EU delegation to Jordan.
Dr. Lubna Bayouq, a member of ACHRS and its Scientific Council held the opening speech for the ceremony as well.
A final speech was held by his Excellency Dr. Khaled Al-Klaldh, Minister of the Political and Parliamentary Affairs, was followed by the distribution of graduation certificates by Dr. Khaled Al-Klaldh himself.
