Graduate course for Syrian human rights activists

Concluded in Amman the capital of Jordan, a training course on “human rights and international humanitarian law” in which (20) Syrian human rights activists for five days, (31/8 and 05.10.2013) in the Amman Center for Human Rights Studies.
The course covered the following topics: Introduction to Human Rights, Universal Declaration of Human Rights, The International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, Mechanisms of international protection of human rights, Convention against Torture and Accessories, Introduction to international humanitarian law, Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW), International Criminal Court (ICC), The rights of refugees, International Convention on the Rights of the Child.
It is worth mentioning that the center has organized since its establishments around (500) training course in human rights involving approximately (12500) participants from 20 Arab countries.
