Two training courses organized in the field of women’s participation in public life in Al-Rusaifeh and Jerash

Amman Center for Human Rights Studies with the support of the Finn Church Aid have organized two training courses on women’s participation in public life. The first one was
settled in the city of Al-Rusaifeh with the help of the Association of Working Women. The number of female participants was (23). The second one was helded in the city of Jerash with (13) women and with the precious cooperation with the Professional Associations Complex for Lawyers.
During these training courses the trainers discussed the following topics:
– The leadership skills needed to participate in social life
– Empirical models on women’s participation in political life
– Campaign management skills
– The rights of women in Jordanian laws.
The training viewed a number of human rights trainers from Jordan as far as trainers of some Arab countries. Between them we must say thanks to Rana Hussein, Mannar Alnithami, Lena Khader, Amani bani Mustafa, and trainers: Dr. Lubna Bayouq, and Hala Murad.
