The Amman Center participates in the Coordination Committee meeting for the International Peoples’ Assembly (IPA)

The Amman Center for Human Rights Studies (ACHRS) participated in the Coordination Committee meeting of the International People’s Assembly (IPA), held in Johannesburg, South Africa from February 28th to March 3rd.

The meeting discussed several topics, most notably: the crisis of the capitalist system and the imperialist response; organizational challenges and the fragmentation of the working class; the imperialist offensive and the challenges facing the left; and the role of the International People’s Assembly (IPA) in the battle of ideas.

It is worth noting that the International People’s Assembly (IPA) was established ten years ago and comprises more than four hundred frameworks, coalitions, movements, and forums—political, trade union, professional, and human rights organizations—as well as research and study centers from around the world.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Nizam Assaf, the Director of the ACHRS.
