Statement on Call for Input on Women’s rights with emphasis on the Right to Participate

In resolution 45/6, the Human Rights Council welcomed the first report of the Expert Mechanism on the Right to Development (A/HRC/45/29), which has now begun its second 3-year mandate. During this mandate, the Expert Mechanism on the Right to Development will carry out six studies for the Human Rights Council. It is in this context that ACHRS has recently submitted a contribution for the thematic study titled “women’s active, free and meaningful participation in development, with emphasis on decision-making”.
