Humanitarian Catastrophe in Gaza and Rising Violence in the West Bank

ACHRS Releases Palestine Monitor for April 2024

Over the past seven months, Palestinians in Gaza have faced severe violence, with more than 40,000 killed or missing. In April 2024, settler violence against Palestinians surged in the West Bank, while accusations against Israel for war crimes and crimes against humanity increased significantly.

In the Arab region, authorities repress solidarity with Palestine amid rising security and geopolitical concerns. Internationally, complaints against Israel and its allies increase, yet ceasefire negotiations stall. At the Amman Center for Human Rights Studies (ACHRS), we stand firm in our commitment to international law and the rights of the Palestinian people. We urgently call for a ceasefire, an end to Israel’s impunity, and accountability for Israeli crimes to achieve a free and secure Palestine.
