‘Stories on Human Rights’ film screening on November 27 at the French Institute in Amman

To commemorate the seventieth anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights ACHRS will screen ‘Stories on Human Rights’, a collection of twenty-two short films which reveal the word’s great diversity as well as hopes and concerns about the present state of human rights around the world. This film conveys the timeless significance of human rights and offers an opportunity to reflect on the importance of the adoption of this landmark declaration.
Stories on Human Rights was created and produced by Art for The World, a Swiss NGO, in cooperation with the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights.
The film screening had been originally scheduled for November 1, but was postponed to November 27, at 7 pm.
Join us at the French Institute in Amman for this commemoration of the ideals enshrined in the declaration of human rights.
