A United Arab Coalition to Combat Extremism, Fanaticism and Hatred

At the initiative of the Emirates Human Rights Society, a coalition of civil society was established on May the 23rd to combat extremism, fanaticism and hatred in the Arab region and to approve its statutes and executive board,
headed by Mohammed Salem Al Kaabi, Chairman of the Board of Directors, together with the membership of Abdel Basset Hassan, President of the Arab Institute for Human Rights from Tunisia, the Secretary Nizam Assaf, Head of the Amman Center for Human Rights, Omar Rahal, Head of the Center for Human Rights and Democracy Information from Palestine. Murad Gharate Director General of Tamkeen from Yemen, the Public Relations Officer Hafez Abu Saada, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Organization for Human Rights, and Sonia Sayari of the Association for the Defense of Human Rights from Tunisia.
The preparatory committee for the founding of the coalition was announced at the conference to combat hatred, intolerance and extremism, organized by the Emirates Association in February 2017 in Dubai.
