Jordanian human rights organizations express their strong condemnation of the terrorist acts which befell the proud governorate of Karak over the past few days, and present their condolences and sympathy to the families of the martyrs, and wishes a speedy recovery for the injured

The undersigned organizations commends the efforts of the various Jordanian military and security forces in bravely confronting the terrorists, which saved Jordan from more victims, and salutes the vigilance and magnanimity of the Jordanian citizens to stand by the military and security forces that confronted the terrorists.

The undersigned organizations call for the need to integrate public and private efforts to address the phenomenon of terrorism and its sponsors, and work to eradicate the intellectual roots, dry the financial sources, dismantle the organizational structure of its local and regional logistics and ties, and fight its media coverage.

In this context, the undersigned organizations demand speeding up the adjustment of school curricula and the rationalization of religious discourse from all commented ideas fueling extremism, intolerance, violence, discrimination, and lack of acceptance of the opinions of others.

The undersigned organizations believe that the promotion of freedom of the work of civil society organizations is the alternative for its restriction that will contribute significantly, working side by side with the official institutions, in building Jordan free of terrorism and makes Jordanian society free and against terrorists and Takfiri thought.
