On the one-year anniversary of the ongoing genocide in Gaza, ACHRS highlights the devastating impact of the violence that has resulted in nearly 42,000 Palestinian deaths and widespread suffering due to Israel’s military campaign and siege. Despite global protests and calls for justice, humanitarian aid remains blocked, and civilian areas are under attack, violating international law.
ACHRS condemns the repression of peaceful protests worldwide and reiterates the urgent need for a ceasefire, an arms embargo on Israel, and the enforcement of humanitarian mechanisms to protect Palestinian rights.
