Yemeni Observatory for Human Rights calls for urgent intervention to prevent the central security forces stormed his headquarters, and announced his intention to prosecute
In a campaign targeting the Yemeni Observatory for Human Rights (YOHR) by the security services and military of the system; directed force to the security of the central evening of Sunday, 9/10/2011 m, and a number of armed militias affiliated warning orally for management of the observatory of its intention to storm the headquarters by force, and searched, and tampering with its contents In less than 24 hours, without giving any reasons or justifications.
Presents the Yemeni Observatory during the last months of attempts to break into more than once, the first of last February, which was the attack on the guard building which is located in the premises, as was closing the headquarters of the Observatory, and to prevent access to it three weeks ago by the Central Security Forces, led by Brig. Yahya Mohamed Abdullah Saleh.
The headquarters of the observatory in the rotor Kentucky center of the capital Sanaa, an area controlled by the central security forces for nearly a month, and it was during this period, blocked access to the observatory, and overpowered by a blockade security heavily on the region, and threatened to break into the observatory and tampering with its contents more than once.
And calls on the Yemeni Observatory for Human Rights of the international community with all its organs, and all local and regional organizations and international, and the Secretary General of the United Nations, the High Commissioner for Human Rights, the Human Rights Council to immediately intervene and prompt the Brigadier General Yahya Mohamed Abdullah Saleh, the pressure on him to stop the storming of the Observatory, and respect for the commitments the international human rights, and pledges that were most recently Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al before the human Rights Council, and download the full responsibility for any threats against the headquarters of the Observatory or its staff.
And condemns the Yemeni Observatory for Human Rights all these measures taken by the security services and armed militias belong to him, blaming the central security forces and its leadership responsibility for those actions, and declares its intention to prosecute their leaders to justice and local and international.
