- An increase in the number of executions in Iran and Iraq, including political prisoners
- Killings of civilians in Sudan and Syria without any court decision
- Suppression of thought and speech in Tunisia and Libya
- Opposition Politicians’ repression in Jordan, Egypt, and Palestine
- Cuts in the humanitarian aid program that affecting access to food, water, and health services in Syria and Jordan
Through this edition, ACHRS aims at creating awareness, fostering change, and being a dedicated companion to victims of abuse in the wake of a rapidly intensifying authoritarian situation in the region.
