Our statement in a nutshell

Almost 8.000 migrants have entered the Spanish city of Ceuta irregularly from Morocco in the time-span of only 48 hours. The incident sparked an unprecedented crisis. The incident took place following rumours that spread in Morocco that the local authorities would be taking a lax attitude at the border.
