Internships at the International Relations Unit (IRU)

ACHRS offers the opportunity for final-year university students, Master’s and PhD candidates, or young professionals to gain hands-on experience through internships within its International Relations and Interns Unit (IRI). This internship is designed for individuals who demonstrate a clear interest in human rights and international advocacy.
Interns will be responsible for tasks such as drafting human rights reports and research papers, preparing calls for input and submissions to UN mechanisms, in line with ACHRS’s seven core priorities: the Right to Life, the Right to Think, the Right to Speak, the Right to Participate, Women’s Rights, Right to Social Protection, and Youth Rights.
Interns must have Excellent English writing and communication skills. A background in human rights, law, international relations, political science, development, sociology, or Middle Eastern studies is required.
The minimum duration of the internship is four months. It is unpaid, and interns are responsible for covering their expenses. Start and end dates are flexible.
