The <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/data.unhcr.org\/en\/working-group\/45?sv=4&amp;geo=36\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Working Group<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, which is chaired by the United Nations Children\u2019s Fund (UNICEF), the Norwegian Refugee Council, and the Queen Rania Foundation, were able to meet virtually despite the current conflict in Asia and the Middle East.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Amman Center for Human Rights Studies (ACHRS), through Tshepo Tlhacoane, were present in this meeting, whose agenda included, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">inter alia<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">Updates on refugee returns to Syria<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">How the current conflict was impacting operations<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">An update on the Education Strategy Plan, which was launched by the Minister of Education<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">A discussion on the Ministry of Education\u2019s fee guidelines, and<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">An assessment report by Save the Children.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">ACHRS commends colleagues in the Working Group for their perseverance during this difficult period by continuing to work for the access and equity of education for all children, adolescents, and youth in Jordan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">ACHRS also calls for the cessation of hostilities by all parties, as armed conflict is one of the main drivers of migration, refugee crises, and human rights violations.
