This report highlights the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Sudan and underscores the alarming situation, marked by widespread violence and human rights violations. Specifically, the monitor details the indiscriminate targeting of civilians and ethnically motivated violence. It also addresses forced displacement and gender-based violence.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"relative p-1 rounded-sm flex items-center justify-center bg-token-main-surface-primary text-token-text-primary h-8 w-8\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Moreover, the report points out the dire conditions facing refugees in host countries. Discriminatory practices and lack of essential services worsen their plight. Importantly, ACHRS is one of the few centers in the MENA region to publish detailed monitors on the Sudan conflict. This effort provides critical insights into violations of international humanitarian law. Thus, the situation demands wider attention from humanitarian and legal experts in the region.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"relative p-1 rounded-sm flex items-center justify-center bg-token-main-surface-primary text-token-text-primary h-8 w-8\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">In addition, ACHRS believes that democratic participation from civil actors is crucial for resolving the conflict. We need to reduce the military&#8217;s influence over the political process. Furthermore, we call for an end to foreign intervention, which exacerbates civil unrest. Involving all stakeholders in transparent and inclusive dialogue is essential for a peaceful resolution.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"relative p-1 rounded-sm flex items-center justify-center bg-token-main-surface-primary text-token-text-primary h-8 w-8\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The monitor also highlights the conflict&#8217;s impact on non-Arab communities and ethnic minorities, showcasing the ethnic dimensions of the crisis. To effectively resolve the conflict, we must end the systemic targeting of ethnicities in Sudan. This issue has long characterized humanitarian catastrophes in the country.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"relative p-1 rounded-sm flex items-center justify-center bg-token-main-surface-primary text-token-text-primary h-8 w-8\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Additionally, the report emphasizes Sudan&#8217;s urgent need for broader humanitarian attention. Refugees are struggling to access basic necessities. Consequently, the humanitarian crisis demands immediate action to address shortages of food, water, and medical supplies. The international community and regional organizations must collaborate to ensure aid reaches those in need, while also protecting the rights of refugees and displaced persons.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"relative p-1 rounded-sm flex items-center justify-center bg-token-main-surface-primary text-token-text-primary h-8 w-8\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Furthermore, civil society groups should play a proactive role in advocating for Sudanese rights and providing essential humanitarian assistance. ACHRS is committed to monitoring and publishing monthly reports on Sudan. Our goal is to shed light on the humanitarian disaster facing the Sudanese people.
