Governments that ratify the convention will have to place the necessary laws and policies to prevent and address violence and harassment in the workplace.<\/p>\n<p>Harassment and gender-based violence in the workplace is a human rights violation of women\u2019s physical, mental, and sexual integrity and dignity. Governments must take viable action to combat this issue.<\/p>\n<p>ACHRS encourages the ratification of the ILO Convention 190 in Jordan and all over the Middle East as an opportunity for leaders to reshape gender equality in the region.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"wp-block-pdfemb-pdf-embedder-viewer\"><a href=\"https:\/\/achrs.org\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/Statement_Ratification-of-the-ILO-Convention-190.pdf\" class=\"pdfemb-viewer\" style=\"\" data-width=\"max\" data-height=\"max\" data-toolbar=\"both\" data-toolbar-fixed=\"off\">Statement_Ratification of the ILO Convention 190<\/a><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Click here to download our statement on the ratification of the ILO Convention 190.
