{"id":1044,"date":"2014-03-12T14:29:17","date_gmt":"2014-03-12T14:29:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/achrs.org\/english\/2014\/03\/12\/meeting-between-achrs-and-aiesec-the-netherlands\/"},"modified":"2014-03-12T14:29:17","modified_gmt":"2014-03-12T14:29:17","slug":"meeting-between-achrs-and-aiesec-the-netherlands","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/achrs.org\/english\/2014\/03\/12\/meeting-between-achrs-and-aiesec-the-netherlands\/","title":{"rendered":"Meeting between ACHRS and AIESEC the Netherlands"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>On March 10, the Amman Center for Human Rights Studies received the Netherlands delegation of AIESEC (<\/b><b><i><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Association internationale des \u00e9tudiants en sciences \u00e9conomiques et commerciales) <\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">The meeting was held to discuss the opportunity to host a Dutch student at the Center, for a period of 6 to 8 weeks during summer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">This exchange is part of the \u201cNOUR Project\u201d, whose aim is to \u201cbridge the gap between Arab and Western world, and to create mutual understanding\u201d. The project supports the activity of sending Dutch students to work in associations and NGOs situated in the Middle-East and North Africa countries. For the year 2014, the four countries targeted by NOUR project are Jordan, Oman, Tunisia and Morocco.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">AIESEC is the world\u2019s largest student-run organization, directed to young people to explore and develop their leadership potential and to have a positive impact on society. The organization operates in 124 countries, relies on the coordination of 2100 universities and 2400 members.
